What are the different levels of Administrator access?

Every administrator on your Kinatico Compliance portal is assigned an Access Role that determines the pages they can view and the actions they can perform across your account. Understanding these roles ensures the right people have the right level of access, keeping your compliance programme secure, organised, and running smoothly.

There are five pre-configured Access Roles available on every organisation account.

The 5 Administrator Roles

Each role is designed to reflect a specific function within your organisation's compliance structure.

  • System Owner: Primary account holder with full organisational control including billing and subscription management. Only one per organisation.
  • System Admin: Senior compliance administrators responsible for managing operations, team members, and reporting.
  • System Member: Operational compliance staff responsible for managing workers and day-to-day activities.
  • Hiring Manager: Recruitment administrators responsible only for candidate management.
  • Viewer: Read-only stakeholders who monitor compliance dashboards and worker status.

The Roles Permission Levels

Each Access Role is assigned one of three permission levels for every page or feature within Kinatico Compliance:

  • None: No access to the resource
  • Read: View-only access
  • Manage: Full control including create, edit, delete, and operational actions

Important: Organisation-Wide Access Only

⚠️ Please note: Administrator access roles apply across your entire organisation. It is not currently possible to restrict an administrator's access to specific departments, groups, or reporting results. Any administrator with Read or Manage access to a page or feature will have visibility across all departments and groups within your account.

Common Questions

Q: Can I create custom Access Roles beyond the five pre-configured options? A: At this time, Access Roles are pre-configured and cannot be customised. Each role has been designed to reflect common organisational structures. If you have specific requirements, contact our support team to discuss your needs.

Q: Can I change an administrator's Access Role after it has been assigned? A: Yes. Administrators with System Owner or System Admin access can reassign roles at any time via the Admin Users List.

Q: How many System Owners can an organisation have? A: Each organisation account can have only one System Owner. This is the primary account holder responsible for billing and plan management.
