How do I reset my password on the app?
Managing your account security is essential for maintaining secure access to your compliance data. Whether you've forgotten your password or want to change it regularly for enhanced security, the Kinetic app allows you to update your password in multiple ways.
What You'll Need:
- Access to the email registered with your account
Time Required: 2 minutes
There are two ways you can change your login password:
Option 1: Forgotten Password Reset
Step 1: Access Password Reset
- From the Log In screen, select Forgot Password
- Enter the Email associated with the account
Step 2: Create Your New Password
- Enter a new password that has:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one special character
Step 3: Verify Your Updated Password
- Check your email account for a verification code
- Enter the verification code when prompted (check Spam or Junk folders if not immediately visible)
- Select Confirm to complete the password change
💡 Pro Tip: The verification email typically arrives within 2-3 minutes. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder before requesting another code.
Option 2: Password Update (When You Remember Current Password)
Step 1: Navigate to Change Password
- Select Settings from the Home screen within the app
- Choose Change Password
Step 2: Enter Password Details
- Enter your Current password
- Enter your New Password
- Enter the password again under Confirm New Password
- Select Confirm (your new password can now be used for future logins)
