How to I action an activity awaiting Organisation Review?

Some activities require your organisation to review and verify a response submitted by a user before the activity can be marked as complete. This guide walks you through how to locate, evaluate, and action these requests promptly, keeping your compliance programme moving and your people's statuses up to date.

⚠️ Important: Until you action a response sitting at Org Review, the activity status will not progress to Completed. This means the user will not be marked Compliant for that activity until you submit your decision.


What You'll Need:

  • Administrator access to your Kinatico Compliance account

Step-by-Step Instructions


Step 1: Locate the activity for review

  • Select My Actions from the main navigation
  • Select Escalations and the For Review button
  • Find the activity pending your review
  • Select the three dots on the activity
  • Select Activity Details from the dropdown menu

Step 2: Evaluate the activity response

  • In the Activity Details popup under Results, open the files attached to review their activity response/verification results
  • When a decision has been made, select the Resolve button in the bottom right corner
  • Under the Resolve heading, use the dropdown to select the outcome of their activity response:
    • Not Accepted: The activity is marked as Not Accepted, making the user Non-compliant
    • Accepted: The activity is marked as Accepted and Completed
    • Resend: The activity is sent back to the user to reattempt, with a new due date
  • In the Comment area, leave a comment justifying the decision (is visible to the mobile app user)
  • Select Submit and Confirm to finalise the decision

💡 Pro Tip: Under Notifications in the main navigation you'll get notified if an activity goes to Org Review.
