When does a mobile app user become active in the User Directory?
When you add someone to your Kinatico Compliance User Directory, they progress through three stages before becoming an active mobile app user. This guide explains how users transition from Inactive to Active status.
Understanding User Status Stages
Stage 1: Inactive
When you first add someone to the User Directory, they're listed with an Inactive status. At this stage, the user exists in your system but hasn't received any activities or communications from Kinatico Compliance yet.
Stage 2: Pending
When you assign and send someone their first activity, their status changes to Pending. At this point, they receive their first email from Kinatico Compliance, which:
- Prompts them to download the Kinatico mobile app
- Invites them to create their account
Stage 3: Active
A user becomes Active in the User Directory when they:
- Download the Kinatico Compliance mobile app and accept the Kinatico Compliance terms and conditions during account creation
Once the terms and conditions are accepted, the user's status automatically updates to Active in your User Directory, and they can begin completing their compliance activities.
