How do I view the status of an assigned activity?
Tracking compliance progress is essential for maintaining oversight of your workforce requirements. This guide shows you how to monitor the status and progress of activities assigned to individual users or groups, ensuring you have complete visibility over your people's compliance journey.
What You'll Need:
- An Administrator account with appropriate access permissions (Read-only, Member, or Admin roles) or a custom access role with "View activities" and "View Insights" permissions enabled
- Activities previously assigned to users or groups
Time Required: 2-3 minutes per activity review
Method 1: Activity Management Page
Step 1: Locate the Activity of Interest
- Navigate to Activities → Manage Activities in your main menu.
- Find the activity by using the search bar or organise the list by selecting a column header (e.g. select Status to organise the list by the 3 status types)
- Review the Overall Activity Status:
- Only displays "Complete" when every assigned user has finished the activity
Step 2: Review the Activity Details
- Click on the activity row
- Review within the Activity Details the status of all individuals assigned the activity
- Not Started: User hasn't begun the activity (requires follow-up)
- In Progress: User is actively working on the activity
- Overdue: Activity deadline has passed without completion (urgent attention needed)
- Org Review: Activity response has been returned and is awaiting Admin review under My Actions
- Pending Review: Activity completed but awaiting internal or external verification
- Deferred: User has requested deadline extension (requires approval)
- Exempted: User has been excluded from this compliance requirement (requires approval)
- Completed: User has successfully finished all activity requirements
Method 2: Viewing Status from the Dashboard
Your Dashboard provides swift access to all pinned activities, making it simple to monitor progress at a glance. If you selected Pin to Dashboard when assigning the activity, it will be listed on your dashboard.
Step 1: Locate the Activity
- Click on Dashboard in the main navigation
- Navigate to the Pinned Activities section on your Home page. All activities are displayed as tiles by default.
Step 2: Access Manage Activities
- Find the activity tile you want to review
- Click the Actions button
- Select Manage Activity from the dropdown menu
Step 3: Review the Activity Details
- See the status of the activity from the Activity Details popup.
- Click on a listed user to see their results (if the activity has been completed).
